Built out of frustration with software that gets abandoned.
Most of the businesses we meet have been burned once already. A developer built something, took the final payment, and disappeared. Nobody can get at the data. The hosting renews on someone else's card. Adding one field means starting over.
We started techyguybd to work the opposite way. The software is built once and run as a service, so it is never abandoned: every customer gets every improvement, your data is exportable from day one, and the domain and the brand it runs under are yours, not ours.
That shapes the unglamorous decisions: proven frameworks over trendy ones, plain PostgreSQL over something exotic, documentation nobody asked for. It is why our clients stay — not because leaving is hard, but because it isn't.
