Terms of service
The agreement between you and techyguybd when you use this site or engage us for work.
Last updated: 22 August 2026
1. These terms
By using this website or engaging techyguybd for work, you agree to these terms. Where we sign a separate written contract or statement of work with you, that document takes precedence over anything here that conflicts with it.
2. Quotes and scope
- Prices shown on this site are indicative starting points for a defined package. A binding price comes from a written quote covering your specific scope.
- A quote is valid for 30 days unless it says otherwise.
- Work outside an agreed scope is quoted separately and starts only once you approve it. We do not bill for unapproved work.
3. Payment
- Project work is normally invoiced in stages, with a deposit before work begins.
- Subscription services — hosting, domains, maintenance — are invoiced in advance for the period.
- Invoices are due within the number of days stated on the invoice. We may suspend services on materially overdue accounts, after giving you notice and a chance to settle.
- All fees exclude taxes unless the invoice says otherwise.
4. Ownership
Subscription software is licensed, not transferred.DoctorsSass, the Travel & OTA Platform and our hosted portfolio sites run on our infrastructure and are licensed to you for as long as you subscribe. They carry your brand and your domain, and the data you put into them is yours: you may export it at any time, and we delete it on request once a subscription ends.
For bespoke project work, you own what you paid for. On final payment for a project we write for you alone, we assign you the rights to that custom source code and transfer the repository. Domains are registered in your name, and hosting accounts are yours.
Two carve-outs, which are normal for this kind of work:
- Third-party components. Open-source libraries and licensed components stay under their own licences.
- Our reusable toolkit. Generic internal tooling and boilerplate we bring to every project stays ours, and you get a perpetual licence to keep using it as part of your system.
Unless you ask us not to, we may describe the work and show screenshots in our portfolio.
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide content, access and feedback in reasonable time. Timelines assume you do; a stalled review moves the delivery date.
- Make sure any content you give us — text, images, logos, data — is yours to use.
- Keep your account credentials secure and tell us promptly if they are exposed.
- Do not use services we host for anything unlawful, or to send unsolicited bulk email.
6. Hosting, uptime and support
We target 99.9% monthly uptime on managed hosting, excluding scheduled maintenance (announced in advance) and failures at upstream providers outside our control.
Support covers keeping your system running: bug fixes, security patches, backups and monitoring. New features and changes to agreed scope are quoted separately.
We take regular backups, but you remain responsible for keeping your own copy of business-critical data.
7. Cancellation
- Subscriptionscan be cancelled with 30 days' notice before the next renewal. Fees already paid for the current period are not refunded.
- Projects may be cancelled in writing at any time. You pay for work completed to that point, and we hand over what has been built.
- On cancellation we will help you migrate away — exporting data and transferring domains — at our normal rates.
8. Warranties and liability
We warrant that work will be performed with reasonable skill and care, and we will fix defects reported within 30 days of delivery at no charge.
Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability arising from any engagement is limited to the fees you paid us for it in the preceding twelve months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
9. Privacy
How we handle personal information is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — unless a signed contract with you says otherwise.
