techyguybd builds and hosts business software. This policy covers this website and the customer, reseller and staff portals reachable from it.

We collect only what we need to reply to you and to run your account:

• Enquiry details. When you press Buy now, Request a demo, or send a message from the contact page, we store the name, email, phone number, company name and message you type, plus which product the enquiry was about.
• Account details. If you have a customer portal login, we store your name, email, phone, address and a one-way hash of your password. We never store your password itself.
• Billing records. Invoices, orders and subscriptions associated with your account.
• A session cookie. Set only after you sign in, so the site knows it is still you between pages. It expires after 12 hours.

We do not collect payment card details on this site, and we do not buy or sell personal data.

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
• To provide the services you have bought, and to invoice you for them.
• To send transactional email such as invoices and payment reminders.
• To keep an internal audit trail of changes made to your records.

We do not send marketing email to people who only submitted an enquiry, and we do not add you to a mailing list without you asking.

We share personal information only with the service providers needed to operate the site — our hosting provider, our database provider, and our transactional email provider. Each processes data on our instructions only.

We will also disclose information where we are legally required to. We do not share your details with advertisers.

• Enquiries are kept while we are in conversation, and for up to two years afterwards so we have context if you come back.
• Account and billing records are kept for as long as you are a customer, and afterwards for the period our tax and accounting obligations require.
• Session cookies expire after 12 hours or when you sign out.

You can ask us at any time to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete your enquiry or close your account.
• Send you a copy of your data in a portable format.

Email support@techyguybd.com and we will action it. There is no charge, and we aim to respond within seven working days. Note that we may need to retain billing records even after an account is closed, where the law requires it.

Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes and are never recoverable, even by us. Access to customer data inside our admin panel is controlled by per-module permissions, and every change is written to an audit log.

No system is perfectly secure. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will tell you.

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and move the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes affecting existing customers will also be emailed.
